The Townsville Helicopters Pub Rub is the perfect way to get a group of friends together to celebrate! 

Your tour will start at our Hangar, where you and your friends will be escorted like VIP’s straight out onto the Tarmac and into your very own private helicopter. 

We will lift off and head out over Townsville’s International Airport and set off tracking north towards Rattlesnake Island and Havannah Island with the glorious Palm Island group to your right, before reaching Forrest Beach for your first stop of the tour! Don’t worry, we have got this round…enjoy a pub feed overlooking the ocean and cold one of your choice to wash it down, all on us! 

For the second stop of the pub run, we will fly back down the coast, hugging the shore and taking in the sights of the ridged river bends, mountain terrain and big blue ocean. Our second stop is at Mystic Sands, where you will step out of your private helicopter straight onto their luscious golf course for one last round! Park up in their bar, taking in the fresh air and cold brew with your friends.

You and your crew will have approximately 45 minutes at each stop to do whatever you please.

It’s then time to head over to beautiful Magnetic Island to finish your tour, where you will be dropped off near Nomads Backpackers to enjoy kick on’s with your friends. Don’t worry, your ferry ticket back to Townsville is included!

Please note, the tour begins in Townsville and will end at Magnetic Island. If you would like to be picked up from Magnetic Island, please contact our team.

This tour has a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 passengers. It is completely private and you will not be sharing it with anyone else! Our AS350 Helicopter seats up to 5 passengers.

In this instance,  it is then the responsibility of that passenger to organise their own transport from this location.*
