Think brews, chews, pubs & private helicopters ...... The Townsville Helicopters Pub Run is perfect for bucks parties, hens weekends, birthday celebrations or simply just a great excuse to get your crew together! 

Let’s gooooo: 

Your tour starts at our Hangar, where you and your mates will be escorted like VIP’s straight out onto the Tarmac and into your very own private helicopter. We will lift off and head out over Townsville’s international airport, passing by Pallarenda Beach and the magnificent Magnetic island in sight out your window. After about 10 minutes you’ll start to get a little thirsty so it’s time for our first stop at the Rollingstone Pub. You and your crew will have approximately 45 minutes at each legendary local pub to do whatever you please! 

After you have quenched your thirst at the Rollingstone Pub we will set off again tracking north with the glorious Palm Island group to your right and rich farmland to your left before reaching Forrest Beach for the second stool stop! 

Starting to feel a bit hungry? Don’t worry champ, we’ve got this round…enjoy a pub feed overlooking the ocean and cold one of your choice to wash it down, all on us! 

For the last leg of the Pub Run we will fly back down the coast, hugging the shore, taking in the sights of the ridged river bends, mountain terrain and big blue ocean. We aren’t done just yet boys. Before heading home we will stop into just one more location, it’d be rude not to right? 

Our last stop is at Mystic Sands, where you will step out of your private helicopter straight onto their lucious golf course for one last round! Park up at their bar, taking in the fresh air, cool breeze and cold brew to finish off an epic day of adventure! It’s then time to head back to Townsville but the fun doesn’t need to stop there…

This tour is minimum 2 and maximum 10 passengers. It is completely private and you will not be sharing it with anyone else!

Our 2 Robinson r44 helicopters seat up to 3 passengers with a seat weight limit of 136kg per person. Our As350 helicopter seat up to 5 passengers. Depending on the number of people you book with will depend on the helicopter that you take. Please call us if you have any questions or concerns with seating arrangements or if you have more then 10 guests. 

*Townsville Helicopters does not encourage excessive consumption of alcohol and disclaims that the pilot in command reserves the right to refuse anyone from entering the helicopter at any point of the tour who is deemed in a state of intoxication or is not fit to fly. In this instance,  it is then the responsibility of that passenger to organise their own transport from this location.*
